World Trade Center | New York

 

A zona do World Trade Center merece uma visita pela arquitectura e arte moderna, além de todo simbolismo do local. Vindo de Brooklyn Brige, o  percurso a pé é bastante rápido. Chegámos ao final da tarde de um dia nublado que se iluminou num pôr-do-sol magnífico.

The World Trade Center area is worth a visit due to its architechure and modern art, further to the symbolic meaning of this site. Coming from the Brooklyn Brige, it's a fairly short walking distance. We arrived there by the end of a cloudy day that brightened up for an amazing sunset.

Impossível visitar Nova Iorque e não recordar o fatídico 11 de Setembro. O Ground Zero deixa-nos de coração apertado e fará para sempre parte da história da humanidade!

It's not possible to visit New York without remenbering the tragic 9/11. The Ground Zero leaves us with a broken heart and will always be part of the history of mankind.
