Londres é uma das cidades europeias mais cosmopolitas. Por esse motivo, foi a capital escolhida para uma escapadinha de 4 dias. Como já conhecemos bem não visitámos muitos pontos turísticos mas aproveitamos para descobrir alguns locais que queríamos.
London is one of Europe's most cosmopolitan cities. For that reason it was the capital we chose for our four-day getaway. As we know the city well, we didn't visit many tourist attractions, taking the opportunity to discover some of the places we wanted to see.

Passeámos também pela zona de Oxford Street, onde fui conhecer a loja de acessórios da marca inglesa Kurt Geiger, tendo acabado por comprar uma peça de edição limitada.
We also strolled around Oxford Street, where I went to see the accessories shop of the British brand Kurt Geiger and ended up buying a limited edition piece.

We stayed at the pleasant Amano Covent Garden, centrally located in the West End where the main theatres and the Opera House are located. This part of the city is also known for its architecture and market.

Passear no bairro de Notting Hill já é um clássico e as suas bonitas casas vitorianas coloridas fazem parte do percurso. O mercado de Portobello Road é também sobejamente conhecido, mas gosto mais da zona de lojas em Westbourne Grove, onde visitei a Sezane, marca francesa, que recentemente abriu no Reino Unido. Wandring around the Notting Hill neighbourhood is already a classic and its beautiful, colourful Victorian houses are part of the route. Portobello Road market is also well known, but I prefer the shopping area in Westbourne Grove, where I visited Sezane, a French brand that recently opened in the UK. Watch the reels here.

We had lunch at the welcoming "The Pelican", though there are plenty of other options. Nevertheless, especially on market days, it is advisable to make a reservation.

Neste dia jantámos no Amazónico, embora prefira o do Dubai, foi uma experiência agradável e diferente.
On this day we had dinner at the Amazónico, although I prefer the one in Dubai, it was a pleasant and different experience.

A zona de Chinatown
No último dia estava bastante sol e aproveitámos para precorrer a cidade a pé. Visitámos a bonita praça de Trafagal Square, onde é possível observar a Coluna de Nelson, a National Gallery e a Igreja de St Martin-in-the-Fields.
The last day was sunny and we took the opportunity to walk around the city. We visited the beautiful Trafagal Square, where you can see Nelson's Column, the National Gallery and St Martin-in-the-Fields Church.
Descemos ainda até Buckingham Palace, onde no dia anterior tinha sido a comemoração do aniversário do rei Carlos III e, como tal,estava ainda toda enfeitada com bandeiras do Reino Unido.
We walked down to Buckingham Palace, where on the previous day the celebration of King Charles III's birthday took place and, therefore, was still decorated with flags of the United Kingdom.
