Para os amantes de moda uma viagem a Veneza não fica completa sem um passeio pelas lojas, em particular a Calle Larga XXII Marzo onde se encontram algumas das principais marcas. Comecei pela italiana Dolce & Gabbana, instalada num magnífico edifício onde cada detalhe parece dialogar com a beleza da cidade.
For fashion lovers, a trip to Venice isn’t complete without a stroll through the shops, particularly along Calle Larga XXII Marzo, where some of the leading brands are located. I started with the Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana, housed in a magnificent building where every detail seems to echo the city’s beauty.
O interior é absolutamente luxuoso e totalmente em linha com a estética exuberante da marca. Arrisco dizer que esta é seguramente a loja mais bonita da Dolce & Gabbana onde já estive. Durante a visita fui ainda convidada a conhecer algumas das salas privadas com peças de alta-costura. Para além da roupa, os frescos são simplesmente de cortar a respiração. Por motivos óbvios, não é permitido fotografar.
The interior is absolutely luxurious and perfectly in keeping with the brand’s opulent aesthetic. I would go so far as to say that this is undoubtedly the most beautiful Dolce & Gabbana store I have ever visited. During my visit, I was also invited to view some of the private rooms displaying haute couture pieces. As well as the clothing, the frescoes are simply breathtaking. For obvious reasons, photographing is not permitted.
A Gucci é outra referência da moda italiana. Neste caso já tinha decidido comprar um lenço em seda da colecção Flora, pelo que saí com o look completo.
Gucci is another icon of Italian fashion. In this case, I’d already decided to buy a silk scarf from the Flora collection, so I left with the whole outfit.
A Gucci Jackie é outra das peças que tenho na wish list, e, como tal, não resisti a experimentar!

Na Louis Vuitton espreitei a Capucines, ainda não me decidi pela marca, mas da cor camel não tenho dúvidas.
At Louis Vuitton, I had a look at the Capucines; I haven’t made up my mind about the brand yet, but I’m absolutely certain about the camel colour.
A Prada também merece uma visita.

A Tiffany & Co. é sempre uma paragem obrigatória em todas as minhas viagens. Durante a visita comentei que já tinha estado no Blue Box Cafe, na íconica Landmark em Nova Iorque e, fui convidada para um pequeno-almoço ali. Infelizmente o meu voo era na manhã seguinte e não pude aceitar.
Tiffany & Co. is always a must-visit on all my trips. During the visit, I mentioned that I’d already been to the Blue Box Cafe at the iconic Landmark in New York, and I was invited to have breakfast there. Unfortunately, my flight was scheduled the following morning and I couldn’t attend.

São inúmeras as lojas com peças em Murano, mas algumas possuem autênticas obras de arte. Desde esculturas contemporâneas a delicadas joias, todas trabalhadas com uma incrível precisão.
There are countless shops selling Murano glassware, but some stock genuine works of art. From contemporary sculptures to delicate jewellery, all crafted with incredible precision.
Existem muitas galerias de arte espalhadas pela cidade, mas a que mais me chamou a atenção foi a Galleria Ravagnan. Localizada numa das zonas mais emblemáticas da cidade, junto ao Museu Peggy Guggenheim, destaca-se pela curadoria cuidada e pela forma como conjuga arte contemporânea com o cenário histórico envolvente.
There are many art galleries scattered throughout the city, but the one that caught my eye the most was the Galleria Ravagnan. Located in one of the city’s most iconic areas, next to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, it stands out for its meticulous curation and the way it blends contemporary art with the surrounding historic setting.
Entre os vários artistas representados, destaco o trabalho de Andrea Roggi, cujas esculturas em bronze exploram formas orgânicas e simbólicas, Annalu Boeretto, conhecida pelas suas criações etéreas e poéticas, e Bruno Catalano, cujas figuras fragmentadas são simultaneamente intrigantes e profundamente expressivas.
Among the various artists featured, I would highlight the work of Andrea Roggi, whose bronze sculptures explore organic and symbolic forms; Annalu Boeretto, known for her ethereal and poetic creations; and Bruno Catalano, whose fragmented figures are both intriguing and deeply expressive.
Para terminar, uma visita a uma das tradicionais lojas de mascáras de Carnaval veneziano. Aqui sentimo-nos transportados para os famosos bailes de máscaras que tomam conta da cidade nesta época do ano.
To finish the journey, a visit to one of the traditional Venetian Carnival mask shops. Here, we feel as though we’ve been transported to the famous masked balls that take over the city at this time of year.
